Professional Services
Senior engineering leadership, for exactly as long as you need it.
We are the hands on leadership that's here to help you transform your hardware business into its next phase. One of two principals is accountable throughout, and we plan our exit from the first week.

What we do
Five ways we usually get involved.
Most engagements start with one of these and widen once we understand the business. All of them start with a conversation, not a proposal.
Commercializing Technical Products
Your product is brilliant and nobody outside engineering can explain why it matters.
Turn complex technical products into clear, confident sales stories and practical market strategy. Drawing on engineering, manufacturing, and sales engineering experience.
- Positioning and messaging for technical products
- Go to market and channel strategy
- Sales enablement decks, demos, and objection handling
- Training technical teams to sell and sales teams to understand the product
Fractional Engineering Leadership
Your engineering team has no single owner, and everyone feels it.
An experienced engineering leader in your business one to three days a week, running the function, mentoring the team, and carrying accountability for delivery.
- Interim GM Engineering or Head of Engineering
- Technical hiring and team structure
- Roadmap, capacity, and capital planning
- Commercial alignment between engineering, product, and sales
M&A / Integration Support
You just did a deal, and now two engineering cultures have to become one.
Technical due diligence before the deal, and the unglamorous integration work after it. We are the people who make two engineering functions into one.
- Technical and operational due diligence
- Integration planning and execution
- Site consolidation and technical transfer
- Cross functional alignment during transition
Teams & Systems
Work keeps stalling and nobody can point to exactly where.
We map how work actually moves through your business, find where it stalls, and rebuild the operating rhythm around it: planning, handovers, quality, cadence.
- Value stream and constraint analysis
- Operating cadence and visual management
- NPI and engineering change process
- Clearer handoffs between technical, commercial, and operational teams
Product & Manufacturing Support
It works on the bench. It falls apart at volume.
Hands-on help getting a product manufacturable and a line capable: design for manufacture, supplier development, and process validation.
- Design for manufacture and assembly
- Supplier selection and development
- Process capability and validation
- Translating technical advantages into customer value
How we help
We fix the underlying systems that your team doesn't have time to.
As you grow your company it's important to keep focusing on the critical path. We are here to build the systems and solutions that fall outside of your day to day focus.
We don't just show you the problem, we fix it.
We help you identify areas for improvement then make the changes to make them happen. We work to make sure you're never the bottleneck in implementation.
We work upstream, not on the symptoms
Late deliveries, quality escapes and firefighting are usually downstream of how work flows. That is where we go: upstream, where the leverage actually is.
We leave, and things stay fixed
The goal is not dependence on us. We build the habits, rhythm and capability so your people can hold the improvement after we go.
Proof, not promises
One engagement, told straight.
A manufacturing OEM came to us with a visibility problem. Their technology was strong, prospects wanted it, and the sales team was closing deals. But investors wanted to understand where the business was trending, and nobody could answer that with confidence.
We started with a single call, then spent a morning with the sales team learning how they actually worked. That surfaced a few gaps: missing data, manual steps that ate the team's time, and no clear way for the board to see current or future revenue. We wireframed the fix in real time over the next day and a half.
Back home, we spent three days cleaning up and automating their CRM and reporting, writing SOPs for training future staff, and building written and video instructions covering how the system works and how to edit it. We finished with a short WhatsApp guide for the CEO, so he could get value from the system without becoming an expert in it.
One week of billed work, spread across three weeks so their team could keep pace alongside it. The board got a live view of the pipeline. The sales team got hours back each week. And the system kept running after we left, because the people who needed to use it knew how.
How an engagement runs
A short, practical path in.
We keep the front end short and low cost, because you should not have to fund a long proposal process to find out whether we are useful.
Scoping call
Thirty minutes, no charge. You describe what is not working and we ask the direct questions. You leave with a clearer read on the problem whether or not we work together.
Diagnostic from the inside
A short paid engagement, usually a series of calls and interviews with your staff to understand how the business really runs, what it is good at, and where it could use help. When it works, we spend that time onsite, because the nuance behind why things work a certain way rarely shows up on a call.
The work itself
Either a fractional leadership retainer or a fixed scope project. One principal is accountable throughout, and we bring in network specialists for the pieces that need them. Most projects run from a few weeks to a few months. We get bored with long engagements, so our goal is to get in, solve the real problem, and get back out as quickly as possible.
Handover
We plan our exit from the start. The cadence, documentation and capability stay with your team, and we taper out rather than disappearing on an end date.
